| I have heard all the "stories" about the food in England, and I'm here to tell you, that the food is some of the best I've had. It's not just "Shepard's Pie", or "Mutton Stew". There is a LOT to see and do in the UK. Being into the music that I am, and the fact that I am a big fan of hot tea, this, of all places, has become my "mecca". Everyone there was friendly, and I even put on my best British Accent, which was WELCOMED, not scoffed at. Riding the tube (the UK's subway system) is damn near spotless, and timely. Speaking of time... I didn't even wear my watch while I was there. Big Ben CAN be heard from almost anywhere in Central London. |
